In Between the lights is an acoustic EP with 5 songs all recorded
pretty much as is. The idea was to be true to the songs and the
moments they were recorded in.
There is a mix of older and newer material. I wanted to capture
the way we play them in our live shows. As for the new songs,
I wanted to capture them in this moment in time when they are
still a little raw an undeveloped, before I start recording them for the
next album and before the creative process comes to its conclusion.
The mix of old and new fits in well with this stage of my career and
my life; between the past and the future; is how I feel at this point in
time. In between the lights.... I just wanted to stop and look
around before I arrive at my next destination.
